Senior Training Specialist

This is a highly technical position responsible for efforts to ensure our channel partners are effectively trained to implement, integrate, and support our portfolio of Internet commerce management software. Responsibilities include development and delivery of focused training curriculum to target audiences of software implementation specialists, system integrators, technical support, and professional services consultants. Ability to lead cross-functional teams of Actra product development engineers, product managers, support specialists, and client implementation specialists to tailor training to each audience will be a key skill required to build a successful training program for our channels.

Required Skills

  • 5-7 years technical curriculum development experience on NT and Unix
  • Knowledge of or experience with Java, CORBA, RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, Informix)
  • Understanding of complex systems requiring understanding front ends, middleware, and backend issues
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and delivery skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment requiring minimal supervision and direction

Preferred skills

  • Software application development experience
  • EDI/electronic commerce experience
  • Change management consulting experience
  • Purchasing or order management systems experience
